Improve your skills in competitive games by learning tactics, roles, and teamwork. You’ll track your performance, reflect on how to get better, and understand what makes top players successful.
Organising & Promoting Events
Learn how to plan and run an esports event. You’ll develop skills in promotion, teamwork, time management, and using tools to make your event run smoothly and professionally.
How is Esports assessed?
Each unit in the NPA Esports course is checked in a different way, depending on what you’re learning and doing.
Esports Industry is checked with a test.
At Level 4 and Level 5, this is a multiple-choice quiz where you pick the correct answer from a list.
At Level 6, the questions are short written answers where you’ll need to explain what you know about topics like how computers work, how sound and images are stored, and online safety.
Game Performance is a mix of playing games and doing a test.
You’ll take part in team matches and then think about how you played, how your team worked together, and what you could improve.
You’ll also sit a test — it’s multiple choice at Level 4 and 5, and short written questions at Level 6.
Organising and Promoting Events is checked by a task done in class.
There’s no test. Instead, you’ll work as part of a team to plan, promote, and run your own esports event.
You’ll be marked on how well you plan the event, what materials you make (like posters or web pages), and how well you work with others.
