Hardware

Every gaming device, whether it’s a Gaming PC or a Mobile Phone is reliant on its hardware. Hardware is the ‘physical’ requirements for playing games. This is broken into three areas: ​

  • Core Components which makes up the inside of all gaming platforms.​
  • Peripherals which allows players to play games and stream.
  • The Internet which is required for all online games and streaming.

Target

You should be able to identify and describe the hardware needed for Esports and Streaming, and explain how it affects game performance.
