Web Design and Development
National 5 Web Design and Development will assess pupils on 5 key areas. The overall goal of the unit is to assess a persons ability to analyse problems and then design solutions. These solutions will then be created using HTML and CSS which develops the foundation skills for web development. Upon the completion of websites, pupils must then be able to adequately test them and evaluate if the finished website meets the requirements set out in the analysis stage.
Web Design and Development appears in both the National 5 exam and assignment.
