Planets (Internal Links)

You have been given two webpages:

  • index.html — the homepage
  • mercury.html — a completed example page about Mercury, the closest planet to the Sun

Your task is to create webpages for the other seven planets.  Each new planet page should include:

  • A suitable webpage title
  • A main heading with the planet’s name
  • A paragraph containing information about the planet
  • An internal hyperlink back to the homepage using the relative address index.html

Update index.html so it includes an internal hyperlink to every planet page using relative addresses, for example:

<html>
<head>
    <title>Space and Planets</title>
</head>

<body>

    <h1>Planets in Our Solar System</h1>

    <p>
        Click on a planet below to find out more information about it.
    </p>

    <a href="mercury.html">Mercury</a>
    <br>
    ...
    ...
    ...

</body>
</html>
<html>
<head>
    <title>Mercury</title>
</head>

<body>

    <h1>Mercury</h1>

    <p>
        Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun. It is also the smallest
        planet in our solar system.
    </p>

    <p>
        A year on Mercury is only 88 Earth days long because it travels
        around the Sun very quickly.
    </p>

    <a href="index.html">Back to homepage</a>
