Monitors
A monitor with a good resolution and refresh rate allows players to view games at their best possible performance.
A monitor’s refresh rate is the number of images that can be redrawn per second on a monitor. For the best possible performance, the monitor’s refresh rate should reflect the FPS output from the GPU.
Input Devices
Keyboards, mice, joysticks and controllers are all regarded as input devices. These devices allow players to play/control their games.
All input devices can suffer from Input Lag, which is the time it takes for key presses/mouse clicks/button presses to register on a computer.
The lower the input lag, the faster a player’s interactions will affect a game.
Streaming and Audio
To effectively stream and play games, it is important to be able to communicate with your audience and other players.
Microphones and headphones are crucial for playing and communicating with your team. A webcam will allow your audience to see you while you stream.
