Roles

Running an esports event usually requires a team of people working together. Each person is given specific roles to help the event run smoothly and to ensure no single person is responsible for everything.

In smaller or classroom-based events, one person may take on multiple roles. It can also be beneficial to assign roles based on individual strengths, such as communication, organisation, or technical skills.

Clear roles help improve teamwork, reduce confusion, and increase the success of the event.

Choosing the right roles helps an esports event run smoothly. Not every event needs every role, and roles should be chosen to match the size and purpose of the event. For example, if there is no audience, an audience manager would not be needed. Matching roles to the event helps avoid confusion and makes better use of the team involved.
