Data Bus

The Data Bus carries data between the processor and memory. It’s a set of pathways that allows information to move around the computer.

The Data Bus:

  • ✅ Carries data from memory to the processor (so it can be used).

  • ✅ Carries data from the processor to memory (to be stored).

  • ✅ Is bi-directional, meaning data can travel both ways.
